Course Description: Five experts will impart what they want learners to ALWAYS CATCH and NEVER MISS in the approach to pelvic pain. These 10 must-knows will be presented in clear, highly visual image and video-rich case vignettes. The course is ideal for advanced practice providers and MDs to attend together for practice building, or for trainees to optimize efficiency in approaching pelvic pain. This year's offering will build on our 2025 course, "Surgical Interventions for Pelvic Pain and What to Do With Everyone Else", carrying many of the same themes (differential diagnosis, multispecialty care, surgical vs. medical management). The AUA 2026 course will bring diagnostic, medical and surgical pearls alive through real-life case examples: 1)- When should a person with interstitial cystitis be offered cystectomy, and show me the technique. - 2) Hormonal therapy for vulvar pain is that simple? And there's a guideline to protect me? - 3) Is bladder neck obstruction all that's causing 10/10 pain? And it's a surgical fix? 4)- I don't need to do an orchiectomy to address this situation? 5)- My patient's pelvic pain is undiagnosed multiple sclerosis? 6)- Neuromodulation can fix that? 7)- I missed endometriosis? 8)- Surgery should be the last resort on this type of patient? How do I identify them? The approach will engage the learner through relatable scenarios, showing them how much they already know, and filling in the gaps that are holding them back.
